It's that time of year..Back to School time! I'm heading back into the classroom for my fifth year as a teacher - hard to believe it's been that long! This is my second year in Pre-K, having done Preschool (3 year olds) for the first three years. It's AMAZING what a difference one year makes at this age, or even a few months. My class this year is very young - the oldest was 4 at the end of April, and the youngest will not be 4 until November. 12 kids this year, making it my smallest class ever and man am I excited about how much I'll be able to do with only 12!!! Lots of opportunities for individual attention, smaller center groups, etc. I'm excited.
My goal in starting this blog is simple: I start off each school year strong, organized to the point of OCD, full of great new ideas, and then after a month or two my organization skills become nonexistent and I'm strapped for new ideas. I'm hoping that by blogging my year, I'll be forced to be organized. :)
